Luxury and premium private theatres in Bangalore: what you get

What a luxury or premium private theatre gives you in Bangalore, what it doesn't, and how our Rosae rooms compare with recliner and luxury halls in multiplexes.

It's anniversary week, the dinner table is booked, and every "luxury movie theatre in Bangalore" result you open uses the same word to mean something different. In a private theatre, luxury mostly means the room is only yours, and at Rosae in Koramangala that comes with recliners in four rooms, 4K and Dolby in eight, and food brought to your door, from ₹1,597 for a recliner room for two up to ₹2,997 for INFINITY, our top room.

What "luxury" means at Rosae

Each of our nine rooms is booked only for your group for a 3-hour slot. No other customers share it, and there are no cameras inside the theatre rooms.

Four rooms have recliners: PHANTOM, DREAM, STELLAR and INFINITY. The other five have sofas, and none of our rooms has beds. Eight rooms have a 4K screen and Dolby sound. The exception is CINEPOD, our lowest-priced room, which has an HD screen and surround sound.

Every room has access to the major OTT platforms, so you can watch anything on them and pause when you want. If you'd like to play a video of your own, such as a wedding video, call +91 63617 29855 first and the team will set it up.

We run our own kitchen. Scan your room's QR code, order from the menu, and we bring the food to your theatre door. Food is billed on top of the room price. Outside food isn't allowed, but you can bring your own cake. Air conditioning, washroom and waiting lounge access, and on-site parking come with every slot, though parking depends on how busy it is when you arrive.

The premium rooms, side by side

These are our recliner rooms, the premium end of what we offer. All take up to 2 guests.

Room Seating 4K Dolby Price per 3-hour slot
PHANTOM Recliners Yes Yes ₹1,597
DREAM Recliners Yes Yes ₹1,748
STELLAR Recliners Yes Yes ₹1,848
INFINITY Recliners Yes Yes ₹2,997

INFINITY is our top room and the highest-priced. All four share recliner seating, a 4K screen and Dolby sound, so compare them by price and check each room's page for details. Going from STELLAR to INFINITY adds ₹1,149.

Prices include GST and don't change across the five daily slots (10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm and 10pm) or at weekends. Compare every room on the pricing page.

What you don't get

A few limits are worth knowing before you book. Our screens are sized for a room, and you watch what's on the OTT platforms, so a film that is only showing in cinemas this week isn't something we can play. Food and drinks are ordered and paid for separately. Alcohol is not allowed at Rosae. Cakes, photographers, fog effects and props aren't part of a booking.

Time is capped too. Slots are 3 hours, and you can extend only if the next slot is free, for a small extra charge of about ₹200-300 depending on the room.

Private theatre vs premium cinema halls in Bangalore

Bangalore's multiplex chains run their own luxury formats. INOX Insignia, for example, has halls at Phoenix Mall of Asia with leather recliners and food served to your seat, and Cinépolis VIP halls, such as the one at Lulu Global Mall in Rajajinagar, also pair recliners with food ordered from your seat. Formats and prices change, so check the chain's app before you go.

These halls are the closest Bangalore has to a "dine-in theatre" at big-screen scale. They suit you when you want a new release on a large screen with cinema-grade projection and sound, or seat-side food during a scheduled show, and you're happy buying a ticket per person.

A private theatre suits you when you want a room with no other people in it, the choice of any film or series on the OTT platforms, and the freedom to pause and talk. If the film you want is only in cinemas this week, go to the luxury hall. If the evening is about privacy and the person next to you, book a room.

Planning a premium evening

Here is how we'd plan an evening in INFINITY. Book a 7pm slot, then upload ID proof on the website (it's required) and pay the balance online from your phone so check-in is quick. Arrive about 15 minutes early, show your QR code, pick your film and scan the room's QR code to order. If the film runs long and the 10pm slot is free, ask the team about extending.

The room costs ₹2,997, and an extension would add about ₹200-300, so budget roughly ₹3,200 to ₹3,300 before food. In STELLAR the same evening starts at ₹1,848.

For a group, recliner rooms won't work because they take 2 guests. COMET (up to 6), FUTURA (up to 7) and COSMOS (up to 8) have sofas, 4K and Dolby, and are priced by headcount at ₹1,648 for 2 plus ₹250 per additional guest. Eight friends in COSMOS pay ₹3,148, about ₹394 each. COSMOS is listed for up to 8 guests, but it can fit up to 10. For groups above 8, call +91 63617 29855 before booking.

Guests must be 18 or older, and under-18s can come in group bookings with an adult. For anniversaries, see our anniversary page, and cancellation terms are on the refund policy.

Book a premium room

We're at 67 Jyothi Nivas College Road, 5th Block, Koramangala, open 10 AM to 1 AM. Pick a recliner room on the pricing page, or call or WhatsApp +91 63617 29855, and directions are on our Koramangala page.
