Private theatre FAQ: your questions answered
Our answers to the questions people ask before booking a private theatre room at Rosae in Koramangala, from cameras and price to food, late arrival and refunds.
It's a weeknight in Bangalore, the weekend plan is still "let's see", and you have our booking page open with a few questions first. We run a private movie theatre in Koramangala with nine rooms and no cameras inside any of them, and a room for two costs ₹1,097 to ₹2,997 for a 3-hour slot, GST included.
Are there cameras inside the theatre?
No. There are no cameras inside the theatre rooms. It's a fair thing to ask before booking a dark room for the evening.
Is it private? Who else can enter?
Yes. Each room is a mini theatre booked only for your group for the full 3-hour slot, and no other customers share it.
Our couple rooms take up to 2 guests and our largest room, COSMOS, takes up to 8. If you order food, our staff bring it to your theatre door.
How much does it cost for two?
A room for two costs ₹1,097 to ₹2,997 for a 3-hour slot, GST included. The price depends only on the room you pick.

Split two ways, CINEPOD comes to about ₹549 each and PHANTOM, our lowest-priced recliner room, to about ₹799 each. A 7pm Saturday slot in DREAM costs ₹1,748, the same as a Tuesday morning, because we don't add a weekend or evening surcharge. Food is billed on top.
What's included?
Every slot comes with the private room for 3 hours, air conditioning, access to the major OTT platforms, washroom and waiting lounge access, and on-site parking. We can't promise a parking space, since it depends on how busy we are when you pull in, so give yourself a few spare minutes on a busy evening.
Cakes, photographers, fog effects and props are not included, so bring your own or arrange a vendor.
Can we watch our own movie? What can we stream?
Yes. Every room has access to the major OTT platforms, so your private movie screening can be anything on them, and you pause when you like. Films only in cinemas aren't available. You can also play a video of your own, such as a wedding video or a surprise video you've put together. Can we order food or bring a cake?
You can bring your own cake. Outside food isn't allowed, and food comes from our own kitchen instead. Alcohol is not allowed at Rosae.
Each theatre has its own QR code. Scan it, order from the menu, and we bring the food to your theatre door. Check the menu before you come so you aren't reading it with the film paused.
How long is a slot? Can we extend?
Every slot is 3 hours. You can extend only if the next slot is free.
We run five slots a day: 10am to 1pm, 1pm to 4pm, 4pm to 7pm, 7pm to 10pm and 10pm to 1am. Staying on costs a small extra charge, about ₹200-300 depending on the room, which puts a longer evening in DREAM at roughly ₹1,950 to ₹2,050. If your film might run past the end, ask the team early whether the next slot is free.
Is there an age rule? Can kids come?
Guests must be 18 or older. Children under 18 can come as part of a group booking, with an adult.
What happens if we're late?
You can still check in at any point within your booked 3 hours. The slot ends at the booked time, so arriving 40 minutes late leaves you 2 hours and 20 minutes.
We suggest arriving about 15 minutes early. Before you leave home, upload your ID proof and pay the balance online from your phone, and at the venue you show your QR code and walk in. There's a waiting lounge if you're early, and directions are on our Koramangala page.
How do we book and pay?
Pick a room and a slot on the website and pay a small advance online.
- Choose a room from the pricing page or a room page.
- Pick your date and one of the five slots.
- Pay the advance online. The amount is shown at checkout.
- Pay the balance at the venue by cash, card or UPI, or online beforehand from your phone.

Can we reschedule or cancel?
You can reschedule a booking once. Open it under My bookings and choose Reschedule. The charge is set per theatre, calculated on the slot price, and we show it to you before you confirm. After one reschedule, the booking can't be changed again or cancelled.
Cancellations aren't available online. Call or WhatsApp +91 63617 29855 with your booking ID and our team takes it from there. Whether any part of the advance comes back depends on how close to the slot you tell us, because close to the date we usually can't rebook the room. If we ever have to cancel your booking, you get a 100% refund. The full terms are in the refund policy.
Which room should we pick?
CINEPOD at ₹1,097 has a sofa, an HD screen and surround sound, and it's the only room without 4K and Dolby. CINEPOD PRO keeps the sofa and adds 4K and Dolby for ₹1,397. If you want recliners, PHANTOM, DREAM and STELLAR cost ₹1,597 to ₹1,848, and INFINITY is ₹2,997. Compare them by seating and price. For an anniversary, see our anniversary page.
For friends or family, COMET takes up to 6, FUTURA up to 7 and COSMOS up to 8, all with sofas, 4K and Dolby. We price them by headcount: ₹1,648 for 2 guests plus ₹250 for each additional guest. Children under 5 don't count towards the headcount. Five friends in COMET pay ₹2,398, a little under ₹480 each, and eight in COSMOS pay ₹3,148, about ₹394 each. Frequently asked
Is parking guaranteed?
No. We have on-site parking, but whether a space is free depends on how busy it is when you arrive.
Do we need ID proof?
Yes, it's required for check-in. Upload it on the website before your visit. If you haven't, reception checks your ID at the venue and uploads a photo for you.
What are your opening hours?
10 AM to 1 AM. The first slot starts at 10am and the last one ends at 1am.
Are there cameras inside the theatre?
No. There are no cameras inside the theatre rooms.
Is the room private? Who else can enter?

Groups can pick COMET, FUTURA or COSMOS, from ₹1,648 for 2 plus ₹250 per additional guest. COSMOS is listed for up to 8 guests, but it can fit up to 10.
