Your first private theatre visit: what to expect (and what to wear)

A step-by-step walk through a first visit to our private theatre in Koramangala, with practical advice on what to wear and what to bring.
You've booked a 7pm slot, the traffic on Hosur Road has you crawling towards Koramangala, and one of you asks what happens once you get there. A first visit to our private movie theatre is simple: arrive about 15 minutes early, show your booking QR code, walk into a room booked only for your group and start streaming, and for clothes, pick something comfortable plus a light layer, because the room is air-conditioned and you'll sit for up to three hours.
Before you arrive
You book a room and a slot online and pay a small advance (the amount is shown at checkout). Pay the balance at the venue by cash, card or UPI, or pay it online beforehand from your phone, where your booking shows the remaining amount. Prices are per three-hour slot, GST included, and the same on every day of the week.
We run five slots a day: 10am-1pm, 1-4pm, 4-7pm, 7-10pm and 10pm-1am. We're at 67 Jyothi Nivas College Road, 5th Block, Koramangala, with on-site parking that depends on how busy it is when you arrive. If you can't find us, call or WhatsApp +91 63617 29855.
The day before, run through a few checks:
- Check that the film you want is on one of the major OTT platforms. Films that are only in cinemas aren't available.
- Upload ID proof on the website and pay the balance online, so check-in takes a minute. ID proof is required.
- Guests must be 18 or older. Under-18s can come only in a group booking with an adult.
- If your plans might change, read the refund policy early. You can reschedule once, for a charge shown before you confirm, and cancellations go through our team.
Arrival and check-in
Arrive about 15 minutes early. If you've already uploaded ID proof and paid the balance online, you show your booking QR code at the venue and walk in. If not, reception checks your ID and uploads a photo for you, and you can pay the balance at the desk.
There's a waiting lounge and washroom access if you get here early. If you're running late, you can still check in at any point within your booked three hours, but the slot ends at the booked time. Turn up 30 minutes late for a 7-10pm slot and you'll have two and a half hours, still enough for most films.
Inside the room

The room is booked only for your group, and there are no cameras inside the theatre rooms. Depending on the room you chose, you'll have a sofa or recliners, and air conditioning. Eight of our nine rooms have a 4K screen and Dolby sound; CINEPOD has an HD screen and surround sound.
Rooms for two cost Rs 1,097 (CINEPOD) to Rs 2,997 (INFINITY), so a couple in CINEPOD pays about Rs 549 each. Groups can book COSMOS, priced by headcount at Rs 1,648 for two plus Rs 250 per additional guest, which comes to Rs 3,148 for eight, about Rs 394 a head. Children under 5 don't count towards the headcount. Prices are as of 13 September 2026; see pricing for all nine rooms.
How streaming works
Every room has access to the major OTT platforms, so you can watch anything on them: a film, or a few episodes of a series.
A few tips so you don't lose time:
- Pick your film before you arrive, or at least shortlist two.
- Check the runtime. Most films fit in three hours, but very long ones may not.
- Keep a second choice in case your first pick has left the platform.
To play a video of your own, such as a wedding video or a surprise video, tell the team first on +91 63617 29855. They will contact you and set it up before your slot.
Food and drinks
Food and drinks come from our own kitchen and aren't included in the room price. Each theatre has its own QR code: scan it, order from the menu, and we bring the food to your theatre door. Browse the menu at home so you can order in the first few minutes and then settle in.
Outside food isn't allowed, but you can bring your own cake. Alcohol is not allowed at Rosae.
Timing and extending your slot
Your slot is three hours. To stay longer, you can extend only if the next slot is free, for a small extra charge of about Rs 200-300 depending on the room. In DREAM, for example, that takes a Rs 1,748 slot to roughly Rs 1,950 to Rs 2,050.
Plan to wrap up a few minutes before the end so you have time to collect your things.
What to wear on a movie date
For a movie date here, dress for comfort first and then for whatever else your evening holds.
- Comfortable clothes. You'll sit for up to three hours, maybe in a recliner, so skip anything tight at the waist or stiff.
- A light layer. The rooms are air-conditioned, and a shawl, cardigan, overshirt or light jacket saves you from feeling cold halfway through.
- Smart casual if dinner is part of the plan. Dark jeans or chinos with a nice shirt or top, or a simple kurta or dress, work in the theatre and at a restaurant.
- Easy footwear you'll be comfortable in for a few hours.
- Leave bulky jewellery or accessories at home if they get in the way when you lean back.
For an anniversary, dressing up a little makes the evening feel different from a regular night in. Keep the layer handy anyway.
What to bring
- Your booking QR code, and cash, a card or UPI if you haven't paid the balance online.
- ID proof, if you haven't uploaded it on the website. It's required for check-in.
- A phone charger for a long evening.
- A light layer, as above.
Cakes, photographers, props and fog effects aren't included, so bring your own or arrange a vendor if you want them.
